Conference Series
Text Affects is the forum for exploring how texts — from hypertexts and digital narratives to literature and social media — shape human experience: influencing social change, reframing histories.
With an interdisciplinary and supportive approach to scholarship, the series brings together researchers from diverse fields including hypertext studies, book history, and digital aesthetics – fostering connections and bridging gaps between disciplines and practices.
Text Affects vision aims to be more than a conference: more a laboratory for fresh ideas, a supportive scholarly community helping guide innovative research from inception to maturity. Text Affects complements the conference with a community strategy that supports all accepted ideas with staggered publishing opportunities and peer-to-peer editorial constructive support.
